Lock Day – Saturday, June 13, Skjoldastraumen

Saturday, June 13, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Experience the unique lock at Skjoldastraumen—one of the few of its kind in Norway—along with a variety of activities for visitors of all ages.

Restauration will be participating:
- Arrival and entry into the strait at 10:45 AM, with information about Restauration.
- The vessel will pass through the lock.
- Open ship featuring stories from our intangible cultural heritage, including the many people from Tysvær who emigrated to America aboard the vessel in 1825, as well as information about the 2025 voyage.
Visitors are welcome both on deck and, in small groups, below deck. Open to the public until 3:00 PM.
