SOS Children’s Villages FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN: Broken Dreams – A Light Of Hope.

In 1825, our ancestors boarded the Restauration and set course for a new horizon, driven by hope for a better life across the ocean
Now, 200 years later, we honor our history as emigrants with a fundraising campaign for children and families affected by war, poverty, and crises.

Every single contribution helps bring back hope for a better future to the children who need it most.

Together with SOS Children's Villages, sailors on boart the Restauration and the Friends Association carried out the fundraising campaign.

And in another section of the Restauration website. With the total amount raised, more than 3/4 million NOK / 75 600 USD!

The cyclists of Sr. Bikers was riding through the U.S. in September and October, and met Restauration upon arrival in New York City.
At the same time, they’re raised funds for Broken Dreams – A Light of Hope.

The fundraiser through Spleis (Norwegian app/tool) ended on October 15, 2025.
However, it's still possible to contribute until November 17 via:
- Vipps to 22000 (write "Broken Dreams" in the message field - Norwegian tool / fundraising solution)
