Norway’s most beautiful stamp—and ranked the world’s third best souvenir sheet in 2025

Winner of the vote in Norway & selected by an international expert jury.

In the national Norwegian vote to determine the most beautiful stamp issued last year, the sheet commemorating the 200th anniversary of emigration to North America—released by Posten ((Norwegian mail service)—was the winner.
for the most beautiful stamp issued last year, the winning entry was the miniature sheet released to mark the 200th anniversary of emigration to North America, issued by Posten Norge.

In the international World's Best Stamp competition, the same issue was awarded third place in 2025 in the category "The Best Souvenir Sheet",  as selected by an expert jury of Stamp Designers, Academics and Philatelists.

The stamp was designed by Martin Mörck.
